Introduction to Mussar with Maggid Paul Solyn will resume on Wednesday, January 21, and continue through May. Mussar is a Jewish system of ethical and moral education that flourished in the 19th century and is being revived in our own time. During the fall, the class studied six middot (qualities): order, equanimity, patience, cleanliness, decisiveness, and diligence. The next series starts with humility. Prior attendance is not required. Everyone is welcome to join the class on January 21, when the session will start with a summary of the principles of mussar.
